Mingora is the largest business town of Swat District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Mingora is the third-largest town in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after Peshawar and Mardan. Mingora is found at an altitude of 984 metres (3,228 ft) and about two kilometres away from Saidu Sharif, the current administrative capital of Swat District. Mingora is a major tourist destination with a large variety of grand hotels.
Beauty spots value visiting are Marghzar, 13kms. from Saidu Sharif, renowned for its “Sufed Mahal” the white marble palace of the previous Wali (ruler) of Swat; Kabal, 16 kms. from Saidu Sharif with its wonderful golf course, Madyan, 55 kms, from Saidu Sharif, Bahrain, Miandam and Kalam.
Malam Jabba, at 2,636 meters on top of sea level and forty five kms. North-East of Saidu Sharif is being developed as a ski-cum-summer resort.
