PIA CASHES IN ON US ELECTRONICS BAN ON MIDDLE EAST AIRLINES:

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) cashed in on United State’s recent ban barring Middle East airlines from having electronic items on board. The Trump administration imposed new restrictions on electronic devices carried by travelers coming to the United States from 10 airports mainly in the Middle East and North Africa in response to unspecified terror threats.

A women has filed a petition in a district and sessions court, seeking FIR against a person allegedly operating a Facebook ID in her name The Express Tribune reported. Shagufta Rani submitted in court on Monday that her husband not only kicked her out from his house but is thinking of separation as well after he found out about the ‘fake’ ID.

BT FINED RECORD £42M FOR LATE INSTALLATIONS:

BT has been hit with a £42m fine from telecoms regulator Ofcom and has set aside £300m to repay providers for delays in installing high-speed lines. Ofcom said the fine was the largest it had ever handed down. It found BT’s Openreach division had cut compensation payments to telecoms providers for delays in installing the lines between early 2013 and late 2014.
