CNG IN PAKISTAN
More than 3 million NGVs plying on the roads.
More than 3,416 CNG stations are operational in Pakistan.
For sustainable growth of this sector, the government has approved the provision of RLNG to this sector with fiscal incentives of GIDC at the rate of zero and sales Tax at the rate of 5 percent.
LPG IN PAKISTAN
Over 40,000 Pakistan homes enjoy the benefits of LPG.
Over 10,000 motorists in Pakistan use LPG in their vehicles.

NATURAL GAS IN PAKISTAN
Natural Gas contributes about 48 percent of the total primary energy supply mix.
The average natural gas consumption was about 3,387 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd) including 175 mmcfd volume of re-gasified liquid natural gas RLNG) during July 2015 to February 2016.
During this period 254,870 additional gas connections including 254,648 domestic, 202 commercial and 20 industrial were provided.
During July 2015 to Feb 2016, the two gas utility firms (SNGPL & SSGCL) have laid 116 km gas transmission network, 1,848 km distribution and 679 km services lines and connected 203 villages/towns to gas network.
During FY2016, the gas utility firms have invested Rs.9,959 million on transmission projects, Rs.8,705 million on distribution projects and Rs.13,225 million on other projects bringing total investment to about Rs.31,919 million.
