[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he people of Pakistan mostly want to perform and adopt lifestyles from the other part of the world, specially the Western countries because most of them lived there such as USA, UK, Canada, Middle East, Australia and also the Scandinavian nations, studies revealed.
As a results, these emigrants and their children totally influence to their cultural and society. It is said that Pakistani culture comprises of dissimilar cultures beginning from the Sindhis and Punjabis to the tribal cultures of the eastern most Pakistani regions. It is said that these cultures have powerfully been influenced by surrounding cultures of Central Asia, India and other places also. Whereas, it is also said that Pakistani society is greatly multicultural and multilingual. There are some similarities than differences that can be found as most Pakistanis belong to Aryan heritage. In the country different provinces have different languages. Our society is also comprises on two areas such as rural and urban areas where the family traditions are different. The rural areas of Pakistan are still dominated by their own tribal customs dating back 100 of years. Presently because of globalization, the people are adopting Western styles like mostly people prefer to wear shirt and trousers except our traditional dress which is Shalwar-Kameez. The changing is also occurring in our eating style because of foreign restaurants which largely running by foreign investors in Pakistan. On the other hand people like Indian movies and dramas an ignore Pakistani stuff.

MIXED CULTURE
Our culture is a mixed culture although plenty of citizens are Muslims by birth and faith. But today, there is great influence of Hindu and British culture on our society.
RELIGION & FESTIVALS
Mostly people belong to Muslim religion and even Pakistan came into existence to provide its people a system of life based on Islam. The people, in spite of some differences of languages, customs and traditions usually follow one religion of Islam. On the other hand, Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha are our two main religious festivals. They are celebrated with great happiness throughout the country.
LANGUAGE
There are number of languages which are presently spoken in Pakistan. Some of them are Balochi, Punjabi, Sindhi and Pushto. But Urdu which is our national language, is spoken and understand in all parts of Pakistan. Being the official language, it is the media of communication between all regions of Pakistan.

LITERATURE AND POETRY
Literature is a significant aspects of our cultural life. Most of our poets reflect Islamic code and trend in their poetry. They gave the message of love and brotherhood. Similarity of thoughts amongst poets and writers of all regions is a significant factor of our cultural life.
HANDICRAFTS
Embroidery, leather works, glazed pottery, wood work, carpet making, metal crafts, ivory are the essential parts of our culture. Pakistani people are known for their quality of work in the foreign countries. Pakistani craftsmen are considered as the best in their craftsmanship.
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES-SPORTS
The recreational activities all over the Pakistan are common. The games like wrestling, hockey, cricket, football, squash, Kabaddi etc are popular in every part of our country. These games reflect our cultural identity.
DRESS AND DIET
Dress is also an important manifestation of culture. The regional dresses of Pakistan undergo changes in the light of local traditions, economic conditions, way of living and wealth in the region. But in all provinces people generally wear Shalwar-Kameez. Furthermore, our eating habits, foods and social etiquette are strictly in conformity with Islamic thoughts.
ARTS AND ARCHITECTURE
The iconoclasm of Islam has given a characteristic form and pattern in the use of elegant designs, based on geometric figures and floral forms borrowed from nature. The Shah Jahan Masjid, Shalimar Garden, Badshahi Masjid, Shahi Qila and many such graceful buildings are a living proof of the excellent Mughal architecture.
MALE-DOMINATED SOCIETY
In Pakistani culture the male member of the family enjoys the key position. Family is headed by a male member and in most cases, he is a sole source of income for other members of the family.
ULEMA, MASHAIKH AND SUFI POETS
Ulema, Mashaikh and Sufi poets occupy an honored place in our cultural aspect of life. Sufis like Lal Shahbaz, Data Ganj Baksh, Shah Abdul Latif, Sachal Sarmast, Hazrat Sultan Bahu and Waris Shah rendered meritorious services for the spread of Islam in the Sub Continent.
