Print magazines in the UK have a hard time. Online competitors mostly attract readership with cheaper and faster content and have less fixed costs to maintain business and issue their content. As our chart shows, almost all magazine sectors surveyed by market researcher Marketforce had to face a decline in sales, magazines covering news could gain almost 4,6 percent of growth. The sectors Women’s Interests – Other and Women’s Traditional could gain even more.
