Last week General Motor’s second in charge stepped down as president to manage the companies self-driving unit, a move seen as serious investment in the companies future.
According to a global online survey conducted by Accenture and Harris Interactive, about six out of ten people who fall under the high-income bracket would be willing passengers in a self-driving vehicles. While interest was prevalent among high income individuals, a little under half of those who fell in a low-income bracket would be willing passengers in a self-driving vehicle. The survey was conducted between October and November 2017 with 21,000 respondents.
