According to tracking by the Johns Hopkins University, the total number of people infected with the coronavirus has reached nearly 1.5 million. The cumulative number of cases in the USA has reached roughly 432,000 – making the country the number one coronavirus hot spot. In contrast to China and South Korea which have had a lot of success in reducing their new case counts. Outbreaks in Europe are proving extremely worrying and Italy, Spain and have passed 100,000 confirmed cases each.
